How is the data usage on this phone? I have been told that it chows data like water in a sponge. My friend loves his phone too but complains about data usage and has to switch off the data and is therefore offline from whatsapp etc. Please share your views.

I love my core prime. It has been about two months, i'm using this phone. I'm totally satisfied with its function, till now no any lag, no any other kind of flaw, such a smooth phone with kitkat 4.4.4(still to go lollipop 5.0.2).
Such a nice handset at INR 8500..
Whoever are comlaining about it's malfunction, they are just a bad user. And they should know how to use a good smartphone. :-)

Anonymous, 27 May 2015the problem is in charger if the phone touch is nt respondi... more-problem is not with the charger, its the phone itself. Its need to have a full factory reset first. Once done, it will be back to normal.

Please note that the Chipset and GPU mentioned in its specifications are wrong. Actually it has ARM Cortex A7 chipset and Mali-400MP GPU. I have confirmed it using CPU-Z.

I'm getting the samsung galaxy core prime I want to find out is it a good phone is it better then the S4 and is it better thanks the nokia lumia 535 i was to chose between the lumia 535 and the galaxy core so I went for the samsung if you had to compare the nokia lumia 535 and the galaxy core prime what would you recommend cell c i'm gonna be paying R169 a month for 24 months which is basically 2 years which is cheap not bad at all please let me know more about the phone as well as comparing it to the lumia thanks
