Dear All,I have 2 days hands on expe.I will update here if I found any good or bad things. Definitely you can go with core prime if you are looking for a cell better than core2
and below grand series.No doubt Core Prime is a good phone from samsung in that price(9k to 9.5k).battery backup is same as quattro(normal) better than core2.
Pros:very fast,Handy,size is same as grand quattro,video quality is good,front camera is 2MP,rear cam is also very good 5MP,touch is also same as samsung high end models.Very sleek.dual micro sim support.
Cons:No widgets tab and some of the default widgets are missing have to download from galaxy play or play store(e.g. assistive light,Whether time widgets)Colour pixel is bit less than other samsung mobile it really feels, middle button is default for net access and the left one is for remove idle process,No zoom button for camera need to do min max in sceen.only 2X zoom,default themes are missing.ordinary earphones,charger is old model(no USB attached charger)

Indian, 01 Jan 2015Now Very Hard For Samsung In India 2015 Year in 10k Range..... moreDon't compare Samsung with bullshit brands such as the Lava.
Lumia 535 is good, but there are touch issues and lack of apps in that. I can't say about Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. But as far as I know, there's poor after sales support of Xiaomi and the govt has also blacklisted Xiaomi. So, what is the point in running after Redmi phone.

Good phone. Excellent performance. Good configurations. Nice handset. Battery backup is good. Functions are good.
