Awesome phone. I have been using this slim n smartphone since April 2015. I must say it's an excellent phone and with lollipop update it has become buttery smooth with fabulous interface and improved battery timing. Good value for money. Highly recommend

As you have asked my phones average chargi... moreHello my Samsung Galaxy E5 take 5% to 100% only about 1 hour 55 min approximately, all because of i used Samsung provided 1.5 Ampere real charger. so i suggest you pls charge with the actual charger which is provided with this phone. & i also suggest please use some of common sence man.

Hi all, M using this fone for one year and its performance is really good. After Lollipop update the interface looks really great and functioning v smooth. the only problem is the sides having silver peel off and abrubtly white color exposed creating very bad look. for that i have to use back cover.

As you have asked my phones average charging time.....it takes almost 2 hours and 30 minutes to charge from 15% to 75%...and shows that it needs 1 hour more to charge completely...dont you think its a bit slow.....as previously it took less time.....and moreover it does not gets too hot until I use it at the time of charging...

i have purchased e5 about 8 months ago
.phone is working very good no hanging problem no screen problem
major problem is camera no clarity in pics these days

Not thrilled with the phone's durabilty. Specs and phone itself were fine, especially for the price. But, I only got to use it for one week...yep, one week. I purchased a case the same time as the phone (same case I've used for my last two phones and I don't buy cheap cases because I'm a klutz). On day 3, I dropped the phone and shattered the screen. Not cool. On day 6, I dropped the phone on carpet and it hit on the top corner of the case. I lost the backlight and couldn't see the screen anymore. Did everything I could think of and got nowhere. So, I got 6 days out of the phone. I've had Samsungs for years and never had an issue...until this one.

Second with any phone since the dawn of smartphones after an update if it is acting up do a factory reset, 99.99% of the time that will correct the problems.

MAVERICK, 27 Apr 2016Hello there. ...I have been using this thing for 8 mnths I ... morehi maveric....i hv also encountered same problms.....1st of all in my case the greenish display automatically comes n on locking and unlocking it goes....2nd the hanging problm has reduced 2 a grt extnt....it came aftr updating n i was not even able 2 receive my phn..but aftr sm days it reducd.....but the charging problm is still there....itz talking much more time then before 2 charge.....

Hello there. ...I have been using this thing for 8 mnths I encountered the following problems
1.screen getting green
2 . hanging
3. Screen burn ins
4 . charging taking more time
SOLUTIONS
1.Only once had I encountered green screen...may be due to humidity...or excess heat but when I rebooted. ..prob was solved.
2 . After a wonderful useless update Samsung turned my E5 to a sloth
I have figured out a solution...don't know if it works for everyone..
go to settings》》app manager 》》DISABLE galaxy app,mix radio and My galaxy.
Now clear all running apps by killing each one SEPARATELY with smart manager
3.NO PROVEN THEORY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM
TIP:TRY FIX AMOLED BURNIN FROM GOOGLE PLAY STORE
4.Still working on it...but I think every phone takes the same time for getting it charged after lollipop update . approx 2hrs

And so i just noticed this morning that my Samsung e5 that takes approximately 100minutes to charge fully now takes forever to charge fully (approx 3hours) and I don't know what the cause is. I still use the same charger that came with the phone and I try to not use the phone when on charge. I've only used the phone for about 10months. Hence I have a 24 months warranty... does it cover for it to get fixed by the Samsung contact centre?
