Fast, smooth and sensitive and is worth its cost. My Rating is 4**** . Cover supplied by Amazon is Super and cheap. Device has lot of features and functions. I can say the device is Very Good, needs more improvements in the present days of competition. Points requiring improvements. (1) Back cover colour and wall paper are Not attractive. (2) Too many Apps. (3) Automatic down loads are not acceptable as the user knows what to down load. (4) Page lay out in message is not neatly presented, has been designed casually forgetting users angle and expectation - needs improvement. Phone is. Very Good. You can go for it, read instructions / operating manual and take good care.

Very good, smooth and fast having too many features worth the cost but Not suitable for Old people and those who can not afford to waste time. Too many unwanted apps, market /sales tactics forced on the user. Every time, we have to waste time in removing or deleting such apps. Again it reappears. I feel it is irritating and PRIVACY INFRINGEMENT. I was using One+2 earlier for 6 years, it was user friendly and gave me Total satisfaction, which is Lacking in Galaxy F42. Might suit youngsters and those who are regularly interested in purchases, gaming and entertainment: UNIVERSAL ACCEPTABILITY & USER FRIENDLY , IN MY OPINION IS LACKING. BUSINESS AND MARKET ORIENTED.

I've been using this phone for the last 2-3 weeks now. I'm having a really good experience with this phone (note that I was a Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 user before.). This phone is pretty fast and has good battery life with excellent display. In short, it is a value for money and best in it's budget. I also liked it's camera. I don't know why people are reviewing it poorly.

My father bought this phone in October and so far it has been great. Excellent battery life and for someone who wishes to do daily tasks without any issues I'd recommend this device. I do wish the screen was amoled though.

Please don't buy... the phone hangs alot, gave it to the service center within 20 days of purchase. Should have returned it the same day...
Keeps on getting bugs And software hang up with every update.
Waste of my hard earned money n totally frustrated

You shall decide the right place about your hard earned pennies to invest..But I bought around 12 different handsets of Samsung till now starting from star nano 3g to M31s ...none of them damaged... either I donated to someone as I liked to buy new model or stolen somewhere.. but even after 10 yrs of use too all devices were upto their optimal performance even without a single scratch in whole system.. Now I m using F42 5G..& well satishfied by its performance.. Within this time period my spouse has changed her handset of various brands like Micromax, Intex, LG, Moto & recently Mi... Within 1 or 2 year's of use all started showing their limits ...So I must admit Samsung is Samsung..

F42 5g is just excellent in display as well as performance..I used galaxy m31s before ( with super Amoled display)...but!!! the TFT FHD+ display of F42 5g can easily beat m31s by large margin in terms of display..it's so vibrant..
Dimensity 700 processor is found to have booming performance..We uselessly go on comparing antutu benchmark.. just useless..anyway we don't tend to buy a supercomputer at 18k - 21k budget.. mediatek dimensity 700 could handle most of the heavy games at moderate to high setting without slightest lags or any heating issues.
Battery is very reliable after heavy task for at least 18 - 20 hours
As I have confirmed from Samsung that, this model is protected by corning gorilla 3 & Knox security (2 layers defence) but without secure folder app...may add in further updates..
Sound quality is good.. rear camera is excellent.. front camera reasonable could have been little better..but would be optimized by further updates..
Only cons I felt is the thick chin with water drop notch ..Samsung could have made it bezelless with punch hole.. but that's don't underscore this model anyway..
