install samsung kies on your laptop/computer.
connect your unit to computer and open the samsung kies app.
if update is required, do it first.
then on top of the menu you will see firmware recovery.
click it.

Okay i bought me a samsung galaxy gio s5660 today....ive put a pattern code on my fone and forgot what the pattern is...Im still learning things about this phone but now i cant get back in due to forgetting my pattern...is ne one able to help me please???

I did not realize the first day I got the phone, however I noticed something different from the other countries'. They don't have apps from google. hi can sum1 help me? i have samsung galaxy gio which is running android version 2,3,6 gingerbread. the problem is that my phone goes offline on itself, were i cant make and receive calls although it still allows me to use the internet. a circle with a line across appears at top of screen. the phone is not blocked, i chekt. please help

If just apps and music I'd recommend a 16GB. Or 32GB. But if only apps then I'd reccomend a 2GB. And if just music then also just a 2GB.
