Greetings.
A friend of mine asked for an opinion but since I haven´t used it, what is better, Samsung Galaxy Gio or Samsung Galaxy Y Duos (he'll only use one SIM, but the store doesn´t have the one SIM version at the moment)? Is the there a large difference in the battery duration between them? I thank for an urgent answer...

easly the best cheap gaming phone i got grand theft auto, gangstar and modern combat on my gio go for a gio best budget andriod phone just one problem no enough onboard space

Yesterday bought my second new,replacing the troublefree one yearold..Worth every penny,not perfect but a good phone overal.
Good display,enough pixels per size,nice colors,good sunlight on max brightness.
Nice camera with proper settings,without the key a pain making selfportraits.
Good web browser,better to empty RAM before long sessions.
Battery decent with decent use.But rather poor with heavy useage.
Built quality its good,looks nice in time with proper care.
Good speaker.
Ear volume low in noisy places.
Hard to find other as good pound for pound.Solid never had issues with mines.
Easy 8/10.

"Media/Audio/Notifications"
And put your msg tones in it. Now you can select your tone from sound settings

This amazing bcoz browsing speed s good,viewing video in youtube also good,bcoz there s no buffering.it s nice phone.But i cant dlt all msgs at a single time.need to dlt one by one & CANT SET TONE FOR MSG except system sound

Very nice phone. Better to use with Cyanogenmod and S2E. Sound quality and output power is fantastic with big headsets. (I use Philips SHL5003) Video acceleration needs baseline h264 + aac encoding in mp4 container. (xvid works too)

I almost have this phone for a month. It's below expectations: hangs a lot, Lags too often and without reason, many network interrupts, poor data connection and a very slow GPS unlike what they say in the review it took from 7 to 15 minutes to lock from a cold start with a data connection! I have no idea if these things are from the OS, So I tried to update the software from 2.3.3 to 2.3.6 and it just became worse.
If you really wish to enjoy using Android just never buy a phone with CPU below 1 Ghz and 512 Ram and do not believe all you see on reviews; tested phones are usually unlike commercial ones. I don't know if all galaxy gio phones are like this besides that this is my first experience with android, but you might find something useful out of my opinion and maybe this phone will satisfy you!!

it plays 720 p videos or not and also mp4 videos.
