dina, 29 Jun 2011ok..what about the fone battery back up...coz i'm not using... moreDid you say that your gio battery back is for only 3 mins or 3 hours? :) May be your not charging your gio well becasue it needs at least 3 hours to be fully charged. Also you can check the battery status with the help of clock icon in the menu during charging . It will guide you the status. If you gonna use your gio only for calls. It will be stand for 4-5 days. If you play songs and some games for some hours than it will give you back up for 1.5 days. Read my post on gsmarena to get more and more back up from gio,

Just wait for the offical release of ginger bread than you can update it at your home there's no reason to send it to samsung service centre.

Anonymous, 17 Jun 2011Did you got any solution? I am facing same problemMy 1st and 2nd Gio were bought through Vodafone, they were locked to their network. My 3rd Gio was bought in another store, network free, GPS works OK, and in 1 week it never shuted down.
Battery lasts 3 days with my normal use (no games, few calls, few messages)
Maybe there was some confict with vodafone software or they had a lot with defects...

i have a... moreDude,first of all...get to nearest shopping place/mobile mall!!And get ur fone updated to 2.3!ppl tk dis fone coz it has 800mhz...dats kool for 2.3!!secondly wen u install apps...It's nt xactly free..!!its type of Adware so d company gets its payment thru add wich gets on durin ur gameplay...!!or app usage,so dis advertisement get added up...!n one day it butches up ur fone....So gingerbread is good @dis...it blocks add....
3 things for it:-
Either Update ur fone(v2.3)
Get Juice Defender(For ur battery)
Root Up Ur fone
Or Droid ur android:)

Guys I'm experiencing a very annoying problem. When i'm using the web browser, the history page keeps opening automatically and i have to click on "back" twice in order to get back to my original web page. This is bothering me a lot. Sometimes it happens several times in one minute and sometimes i can spend 10 min without seeing it.
I need to know if anybody else is suffering from this or it is just me.
