The following reg CPU & GPU is for FIT. Guess Gio has the same.
CPU: ARM v6 (same in Optimus One)
GPU: Qualcomm Adreno 200 (same in Optimus One)
Quadrant Benchmark - 550 avg with on stock 600 MHz.
will post the video in youtube soon ,..
(for lg optimus One- 450 avg based on some youtube video)
LinPack BenchMark - 7.5 avg at 600 MHz.
(Optimus One - 8 avg based on some youtube videos)
FIT - 5Mpx, 16M, 279 MB Ram.
O1 - 320*480, 512MB RAM(heard nothin grt bout 512 mb ram in Entry-level phones)
Gio - 16M, 320*480, 800MHz, RAM may b same as FIT.
Fit runs Angry Birds, Tank Hero Beta smoothly. So can expect better performance from Gio.

OPtimus one also has WLAN like GIO. ond LG O1 is better and cheaper too . But a Sad news for people waiting for GIO in India. samsung India has said it will not be releasing GIo in india. thats foolish but true. Choose Gio not Optimus one
Gio is just better maybe beacuse it has 16m colours and optimus has only 256k colours get real if you wnat smart phone you prefer better picture and wlan am i right?

i think garry is absolutely right. optimus1 is a way better than gio,512mb of ram,divx xvid support.170 mb of internal memory.low price than gio

1. Gio's 800Mhz cpu is jst the oc version of op1's 600Mhz.
2. Gio's ram is only 258mb compared to optimus1's 512mb.
3. Android is really battery intensive. So u'll need a bigger battery. Gio-1350mah whereas optimus1's 1500mah.
4. No one knows if the gio even has a gpu!! op1 has adreno-200.
5. Op1 is cheaper than gio.
6. Look at the voting results of both the phones. They're genuine scores.

Optimus One & Gio (& Ace) have same processor (Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset),
but Optimus One underclock it to 600MHz to get longer battery life.

RAM or the processor for display, surfing and and good music? not got too much multitasking to do though. At the most surfing and music.
