I bought this phone after upgrading from a Galaxy S2 and initially I had buyers remorse because I used to watch a lot of games on my Galaxy S2 when I was not at home with my cable plan - Anyways i ended up fine because the 76ers were awful the season, they went on a 26 game losing streak and i was not even checking the scores my Grand 2 let alone any games so this phone was so good and i had it until 2016 when i upgraded to a Galaxy J7

my mom bought this phone for me since march 2014. last owned in 2017 because someone stole it. i miss the good times. the camera was amazing at its time. i still need this phone for nostalgia. the display looks decent. consider it has 5.0 inch display at 720p. though its TFT so i expect some terrible viewing angle.

Good in its day but 8 GB of internal storage was too little.
I got it less than half the price of a Samsung Galaxy S5 at the time and did not regret it, but I was a bit disappointed it only had a 2600 MLA battery, it really should have been 2800 MLA like the S5 and at least 16 GB of internal at the time, even 32 GB would have been good.

It's not working... I bought one of the mobile three weeks ago, in a Namibian shop and it's useless. 1. You switch the phone on and in 30 seconds it bacomes black, you see nothing; 2. you put credits and Internet does not switch on... only with wi-fi.

i got this phone way back at july 2014, and even when i stopped using it in 2017 and switching to a j7 prime and even to this day, the phone is still surprisingly alive and responsive

i am still using samsung galaxy grand 2 smg7102.
and still in very best condition working smoothly
with custom rom.
many memories related since 8 years.
one of the best mobile of that time.
