Also, the samsung authorised centres won't downgrade it.... you'll have to get it downgraded from a local store....! And if you haven't upgraded it to the latest version than first do that...
Regarding 4.4.4 kitkat nothing can be said as if now.... only time will tell whtz exactly gonna happen....

This an amazing phone just like the S4. Most of the features like smart stay is their.But it has no update to lollipop.Why?

Samsung has done an excellent job delivering the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the Galaxy S5, turning a new page in the book of Software Updates. We already know that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update will be provided to all the galaxy flagship devices including the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4, but itseems that Samsung might be planning to show a little love to its mid range galaxy owners also. In a new report from our sources at Samsung, it has been indicated that Five Mid Range devices are also being considered for the Lollipop 5.0 update. The devices that were lucky enough to make it are –Galaxy Grand 2, Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Galaxy S5 Mini, Galaxy Mega 2 and Galaxy Grand Prime.

But as if now I don't find a need to revert back to jellybean coz the present OS is perfect.....

Hello guys, grand 2 might not getting android 5.0 as we known. But maybe it will get android 4.4.4.The Samsung phones that will reportedly get the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update are Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 LTE, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Duos, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Duos, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE. Samsung has not confirmed any of these but i hope it will be getting android 4.4.4.(especially grand 2).

I think that everyone should reset their devices every 6 months, that helps maintaining the phone speed, battery life etc. As we keep on using the phone there are many caches which accumulate and cause load on the phone, resetting the devices removes/erases everything and the device performs like it is almost new...!!

Does the problem ... moreI would personally give the kitkat update a thumbs up, I dont know whether people are spreading fake opinions or something like that, but to say, I installed each and every update which was available and there were problems like heating, low battery life and much more bugs... but after the 38mb update it has recovered everything, also now there are less heating issues than it were on jellybean... Now the phone is perfect.
Suggestion
If possible get all the updates installed and reset your device...
