I am requesting everyone not to buy Samsung galaxy grand 2 sm-g7012 until and unless SAMSUNG upgrades it with android kitkat 4.4.4 and later on android lollipop software update as early as possible.

But no lolipop. Got a reply from samsung development team.

Armiiin, 05 Dec 2014About updating... samsung forgot this phone.. :/ it deserve... morebut it is possible to get Lollipop for after march 2015. Post recent flagship devices Samsung will concentrate on Note 2, S3, Grand 2, S4 mini etc.
