Dear experts,
I bought a grand 2 from bangladesh samsung store last week. Today I noticed that its running on kitkat 4.4.2 version but as far as I know it would run on jelly bean. I did not update my version, even still I have not connected my device to internet. So my question is that does it come with default kitkat version or they have just gave me a used set. :-(

Shhzd amar, 22 Nov 2014Ya dats true but I think thus problem was there before the ... moreno i never faced this issue.. i always transfer my photos or files from pc to grand2 via bluetooth.. it always goto bluetooth folder... maybe there's something wrong in your bluetooth settings.

plz dnt make a bad image of this phone . grand 2 is a suprb mobile . we knw sometime during new updation sm bugs created but after it mostly new updation all will be fixed. so if u facing restarting issue plzz update a new firmware virsion nk1 after this u never face these problem .
i m using this phone its awsome suprb battery ackup suprb touch i give 10 of 9 to this phone .

i bought my phone galaxy Grand 2 my problem is i used just in 3 weeks i saw the blue dot and pink.. it is cover of warranty or no...i waste my money for this phone....pls can you help me what should i do.....ty

Shhzd amar, 22 Nov 2014Ya dats true but I think thus problem was there before the ... morei agreed with ur statements that after updation of 4.4.2 kitkat restarting problem raised it was a bug in grand to for fix this this issue samsung a new firmware version updation made this is a binary updation nk1 specialy for restarting after blue screen after update this basebend version ur phone never restart after update. i suggest u plz go to care centre and update nk1 updation .
this updation come on 15.nov.2014
i faced same problen now i updated my phone never restsrt after this

One more problem.... has anyone noticed that the files shared by bluetooth goes to the download folder intead of going to the bluetooth folder.....????

Kunal , 19 Nov 2014I have 2 handset of Grand 2 in my family in both the handse... moreThat happens when your phone gets pressed by something in the middle.... it generally happens when the phone is mept in the pocket or if suddenly an heavy thing falls on it.... in your case it maybe that it would be damaged before....

sumit saini, 21 Nov 2014buy sony xperia c same feature but no hanging problem Sony xperia C has less internal memory than that of grand 2.... Grand 2 has 8 gb in which 5.8gb is user available..... but in xperia C there is only 4gb of internal and hardly 2gb is available for the user.... and It also has hanging issues because of the less internal memory and lack of a poweful chipset like snapdragon 400.... also its RAM is less only 1gb from which about 600mb is already filled by the os and the inbuilt things and grand 2 has 1.5gb of RAM which is fairly available and anyways more than xperia C.....

BSNL and I think reliance are on the way to bring 4g connections..... but in the america side obviously there is 4g..... but the fact that grand 2 doesn't have 4g was very wrong....
