I think galaxy grand 2 needs a firmware or kitkat 4.4.3+ update because im having a hard time downloading and updating apps from the play store. I have to keep an eye on the phone until the download or update is complete as i have to turn the mobile data off n on whenever the download fails which is quite annoying although the new features works great as claimed and i love it.

After getting kitkat version downloaded, the problem of restart got resolved by using it in safe mode for sometime. However, icons in scroll bar notifications at the top such as battery signal, tower, sim indicator, wifi signal, clock appears in black and white (not in colour) and some icon at left side shows in colour (but over all function is very smooth and looks good).
Is the "black and white" appearance of icons in upper scroll bar at right side usual or not? Has anyone experienced same? or, is it a feature of kitkat?

I really want to experience.using Android Kitkat on my Grand 2. But I dont know if the upgrade is now available in the philippines.. Anyone knows? If the Android Kitkat is now available here in the philippines?

Got kitkat version downloaded. But now phn is discharging very fast. Any remedy for it? Plz tell. Also cannot send songs to others via bluetooth to other device. But can receive songs. Plz give the solution if any.

i have been using this grand 2 for past 3 weeks, its really very smooth and fast experience i got and i like the back lether type cover most, and great performance with 1.5gb of ram running superb games like realracing 3 and asphalt 8. when it comes to battery on wifi it can go for 8hours. thanks for the samsung:)
