Guys can i upgrade my grand 2 to 4.4.2 kitkat?????is it safe.Also i heard that doing so will effect my phone RAM ,is it true????plz reply me guys...

I have upgraded my Galaxy Grand 2 by latest update kitkat 4.4.2. After upgrading i have problem with my front camera resolution. the higest 1.9M front camera image is getting compressed or expanded.
please give me any solution to get back to original 1.9M camera clearity if any setting change happens after upgrading ??

[deleted post]There is an option to backup all the apps in Google server, but I haven't tried it. If Data bandwidth is an issue, you can use an app called Super Backup to create backup of all the apps in your SD Card as apk file. After your phone is factory reset, you can install all those apks.

Knowell, 21 Jul 2014Have this phone for a week. Updated software (kernel etc. B... moreHello Knowell, I am able to move apps to SD card without any issues in Grand2. It was working in 4.3 version and good part is even after upgrading to Kitkat that option is still there. However, there are some downloaded apps which doesn't support moving to SD Card. If you are trying one of those apps, it won't work. A few example apps which I am able to move: Acrobat Reader, MX Player. Can you please try out these apps using setting->Application manager option? There you would find "Move to SD Card" option if you have a SD Card enabled. However, if you try to move apps like Facebook/Google Chrome, it won't work. That's the problem with those apps- not with Grand2.

None of these games ( nfs most wanted and modern combat 4 and amazing spiderman2 and also max paynemobile) work after installation it shows unfortunately it has stopped working

if i update kikat to my grand 2 in service center, my external APP's R (wat's up ,viber ,Wechat,Line,Hike) get disuper, after that i reinstal that all it make me damn, ,becoz last time i update the same jelly bean, my all APP's gone, so that's Y plz tell that option, kindy helo out of thes,,

cool device, everything worked fine on 4.3, after i upgraded to 4.4.2, phone improved. no issues.
I downloaded the update file from Sammobile.com and flashed with Odin software. grand2 is worth the cash folks.

Have this phone for a week. Updated software (kernel etc. But not Android). One thing that irritated me is that it still does not move downloaded apps to microsd. What it has is an emulated storage within the built-in storage and it just moves apps there when you opt to move it to microsd in the application manager menu. Samsung please update. I had such high hopes for this model when I acquired it. Such a letdown really. Will not root coz it voids warranty.

Hello.i m using grand 2.i updated my phone via wifi to kitkat 4.4.2..then while watching videos my phone is restarting again and again..i tried factory reset..i tried going to the service center.but its still restarting.can anyone help me.this is my new phone.pls if anyone can solve my issue.pls tell me.it would b a great help.pls..
