Grand 2 is an amazing phone. It's large screen and HD display makes it my favourite mobile. I love playing hd games on it. It plays all games flawlessly. The only problem is that it heats up a lot while charging. Other then that, it's a prefect phone for people who want a light weight, big screen and awesome built quality phone. Go for it.

Please do not update your device to 4.4 or later.
The shameless google has imposed restrictions on SD card usage in android 4.4 onwards. Did anyone know about this?. Search google with the keywords 'microsd card access problem in android 4.4'. Then you will come to know.
The restrictions (when the memory card is used in android 4.4 (or later)) based mobiles* are :
> Cannot copy or move files and folders from internal memory to SD card.
> Cannot receive files to memory card (via WiFi or bluetooth)
> Can only download files (not via torrent softwares) to memory card.
> Cannot create a folder or sub folder in the SD card.
> Cannot copy or move files within the SD card.
> We can only read and format the SD card and set the storage for camera pictures and videos to SD card (not to specific folders, just in common).
> Usage of all file managers is restricted.
* means - not via card reader.

Mac Travic, 26 Feb 2014Hi Guys i now want to buy my new smart Phone within 27k. so... moreGo for note 2. I was myself in confusion between note 2 and grand 2 but bought note 2 5 days back. Display of both the phones are nearly same. Note's colours are more saturated whereas grand's screen white level are better. Note is faster but graphic handling of grand 2 is slightly better but not by much due to better gpu. Its s pen feature is very handy sometimes. 4.3 update is available and samsung is also giving 4.4 update expected by april end. Hope my review is helpful.

Welcome in the club of worst and stupid company samsung. Samsung had made a garbage of mobile like grand, grand2, s3 ace,etc and samsung is also cheater company samsung copies from apple,sony for example samsung copied water proof and dust proof idea for s5 from sony. .Such a cheap and cheater company samsung is.

So confused what shell i buy Note 2 or Grand 2 Or Sony ZL. all of them in appox. in same price and config. and i also want to get 4.4 update or may be further. also a good battery backup and i used to surf the net alot and thus having a Good Gpu and Good processor ( sd 400 or +) and more then 1Gigs of ram and 5" or more Disply and would be better for video plyback and Gaming. and also let me know if any better models you have in mind. Thanks In Advance
