there is problem with grand 2 screen dimming issue.
the brightness gets automatically full and dim when the brightness is registered as full.
samsung is not able to resolve the same from last 8 months.
now they not updatng any bugs with new update.

Why all of us want a lollipop update of Samsung Grand 2.Has anyone thought of it when it was released one and half year back. It's the built quality along with the hardware which is synchronised in such a way to give it optimum performance whatever the task it. It's not like all those cheap Chinese phones which is built for a price and hardly stays intact after six month of use. I am not advocating Samsung Grand 2 but just writing this because I myself is using the set for one and half years and am very happy with it.To keep it using a lollipop update is justified.Hope Samsung oblige.

Little heating issue are there with Galaxy Grand2
But then again it was good performing since last 1 year. 4 star i give for Grand 2
Now waiting for official update of Lolipop which now available to lower range of Samsung phone but not with Galaxy range which launched last year.

Grand prime and Core prime have 64bits processor that is optimized for lollipop update. Ram have nothing to do with android version. Smartphone with 512mb ram could even run android kitkat out of the box smoothly. Such phone are galaxy ace series and galaxy young series.

I'm using Samsung Grand 2 for the last 15 months. Till now no problem for built quality or any other issue those who point Samsung should keep in mind that it's a telecommunication equipment and not a gazette for amusement after all dependability is a big factor, and Grand 2 has proven record for solid call connectivity along with best network coverage among others. After all a call or communication by any media can change your life.So this is the brand reputation for which Samsung Grand 2 has sold in million.And has became a part of life for those who prefer quality over gizmos.

Hi all. I bought this phone in April 2014 and using it for one year + one month now. I bought it for 23 k. The phone is still amazing ,xpect side bezel stripping and poor battery back up for last 3 months. I won't complain because am a heavy user using my phone 14 hour a day with heavy 3g using. So I need to change battery. I recommend this master piece
