I just brought this phone and when I launched SKYPE the other night it crashed-today i viewed pictures from Facebook and crashed again..no matter how hard I press the home bottom it wont work so I tried to give it off sometime to reboot but didnt. FINALLY without turning off still in Hang..i pulled out the batteries. Help me find solutions so that this wont happen again.

this phone badly needs kitkat update. bcz in 4.2.2 it is hanging 2 or 3 times a day.

I went for backup & reset for betterment. The instrument could not did my valuable data and saved photos. Please solve the matter

One of the worst phones I've ever owned. Crashes constantly and incredibly slow. Super slow for a dual-core phone. Piece of garbage, I deeply regret buying this.

but UI smoothness is much better compare to 4.1.2. you may find slow response in 4.1.2. for ex: you may find whenever you try in open notification panel.
and also after updating of 4.2.2,frequent of hanging problem was there.

Friends if u want to update ur grand then go to care centre to avoid something wrong. Or open topic stability update on geekygadgets he will give u right solution.

Avoid using flash once and check..and when camera is on go to settings and select reset settings and check..

It is not a regular problem to solve within handset settings....just go to samsung stores and replace new grand...i hope it is handset manufacturing issue.

I updated the softw... moreSam galaxy grand runs smoothly on 4.2.2.before upgrading reset phone remove sd card.donot upgrade other apps like crome play store music player etc its may cause hanging and battry drain fast.we cane save battary by using only one sim.

AnonD-18211, 25 Dec 2013I've always LOVED this phone until now! I updated the softw... moreEven me too have had the similar experience with Grand. It worked very smoothly until i installed Jelly Bean 4.2.2. Now it has become quite slow especially when i connect the WiFi and at times it hangs up.
So waiting for 4.3 update for Grand and hope it might solve the problem
