Guys. I got this Samsung grand abt 8months back
But till dat5i never got any problem
working fantastic.
Only problem,I have bsnl connection for last 3yrs.
And mostly I use internet/gprs 2g.
Now 2g has been stopped.
Now bsl is giving 3g only.
The problem is The speed is not satisfactory.
But with phone there s never the problem.
It depends upon the usage from person 2 person.

the sar value of the phone is only 0.24 and 0.29
look only EU not US EU means india US means america
in india sar limit is 1.6w/kg
in america sar limit is 2.0w/kg

samsung kindly restructure prices of all mid range phones like grand, quatrro, core to compute against sony xperia c, micromax, intex aqua series and lg optimus g pro lite duel which launched today with massive 5.5" display and stylus for just rs 18300 for forthcoming festive season DIWALI

victor, 23 Oct 2013I have heard that if you are speaking on sim A and someone ... morethe basics of these dual mobile is when A is in call, B goes not reachable. One provision in samsung dual sim mobiles is to enable call waiting and auto call forwarding option (when not reachable) in both the sim and this is enabled in network provider only. you can manually do this in both the sim separately also.
So when B goes not-reachable, then call will get forwarded from B network provider to A network provider. since A is in call, you will get a call waiting alert. only you will be charged to B sim if you attend that forwarded call. hope this is clear.

I am using this phone since March'13 and from day one it gets hang minimum once in a day and unfortunately 2 weeks earlier (Oct'13) my mobile got permanently hung and I had to admit it to Samsung Service Center, wherein in first attempt they tried to upgrade S/w and F/w and did some hardware change but when i have gone to take back my Phone the problem was still there and Again they took back my Mobile and yesterday I got back my Mobile after replacing the Mother Board as per Samsung service center.
Also the big pain is the battery life.
I would never recommend samsung mobile to anyone. I am very much annoyed.

neeru, 23 Oct 2013i have purchased grand 10days back... internet speed 2g ver... moreJust clean up all the running apps from task manager. You will get some extra bits of internet extra. Always try to avoid installing online apps.

I have heard that if you are speaking on sim A and someone phones you on sim B the phone redirects the call from sim B to sim A which means payment. Is this true ? The phone does not have the capability to alert you that you are called on another line without transfering it ? And can you put on hold one line and speak on the other ? I find that in all reviwes for dual sim phones they speak about processors, camera, memory etc but not about the most important thing making calls!!!!

It hangs too much
And its steel polish goes blank everyday ie steel polish is coated around the boundary of phone which is not durable
Polish is not durable
It is not more than a Chinese phone
Also poor look phone

SZJ, 22 Oct 2013I've updated my grand with 4.2.2 jelly bean and since then ... moreplease check the developer's set-up, that is normal though for android. you can update it to hide those warnings or errors.
