hopefully performance will improve and we will be able to move applications to SD card when the firmware is upgraded to 4.2.2 jelly bean
so people let us all know when the firmware will be upgraded to 4.2.2

Hi all,
Need some urgent buying advice.
I am really split between the galaxy GRAND and Lumia 720. my priorities are a Decent performing device that lasts me long. Not much of gaming, just a smooth n lag free phone with good entertainment capabilities.
keeping in mind that i am from India, can anyone point me towards a direction?
Any help is appreciated. :)

Dear all,
I have lost my peace of mind after I bought this phone. I bought it on the 17 th of February 2013 and I have given the phone thrice to the service centre at Dadar to be repaired. I gave my phone in the morning (7/8/2013) at 10.30 am and they told me to come back at 4 pm. I lost all my data and phone numbers that were stored in the phone.
The last time I wrote to Samsung, the staff called me up immediately and were very helpful. I also had a word with Mr. ASHU MAHESHWARI and he said if there is any problem in the future he will replace my phone.
The lady at the reception handed me the phone after around 15 minutes she was attending a personal call. She didn't give a damn that people have to waste a full day for a phone. Samsung grand galaxy happened to be the best in the market that came with a high price tag. You don't pay 21 thousand to go go to a series centre so many times in 5 months. After I came home, now the phone when put on charge continuously beeps
I recommend that no one should buy this phone. It hangs too much.

Does gta 3 work on galaxy grand ? Android market shows it is incompatible with your device. Has anyone tested this game on galaxy grand without rooting the phone?

Freaking awesome, amazing features that matches the S4, perfect size and looks, fast and smooth. I was really worried about the low ppi but I can't even notice it. Before purchasing, I was really confused between the grand and LG L9 even the the Sony acros S. I'm glad I made the right choice, well done Samsung well done

I just got it yesterday and I'm glad to say that it's AWESOME...great phone and u wont even notice the low screen resolution...actually the screen is awesome!!...glad I bought this one!if u were planning to get it,then get it!!hope this was helpful...

The internal memory is 4 GB not 8 GB.
Battery back up is pathetic. Phone sometimes gets auto restart or shut down.
RAM usage is 75% max still, phone is utterly slow & sometimes hang up. If any solution/suggestion do let me know to jaydev.mantu@gmail.com

This phone is perfect for middle class.. it is perfect made phone. not a single lag at all, eventhough my ram is full.. wonderful phone. only concern is with the display. and dont have a camera shutter key ( even not for s4 also). please do update to 4.1.2 and you will not feel any kind of lag. smoothness can also retained by turning off power saver option in the top drop down box
