Over all good.
You can get better phones now in market with a lower price.
This phone is good but it has such a low sound quality that it takes the fun away. If you put your phone on speaker phone or want to watch a video... trust me it breaks that feeling big time...

Please dont post bad reveiws if you havent used it..and stoo comparing it to micromax which is a local brnd ...i have used canvas 4 and its the worst smart phone i ever had...i am using grand duos and i cn assure you this is best smartphone ever ..you wont get better phone in this range..grand duos has no lags watsoever..if you are thinking to buy it just close your eyes n go for it

I've been using the Galaxy Grand Duos for 5 months now and I can tell you that I love this phone...it works really well for me. :)

After upgrading d upgrading did not show any difference on d phone and d version does not change.

Review:
This review may be helpful if someone wants to buy this phone. hit thanks if you like this review.
After 7 months of experience with this phone, i can say it is the best in its "class".
Pros:
1. 1 gb ram and a dual core processor, makes the device more than fastest. cool processing and no hanging at all. everything works perfectly fine.
2. latest jelly bean os. a planned upgrade to 4.2.2 also.
3. good battery backup -- this is wat lacks in almost every android phone. among my five old android phones, the battery of grand seems better
4. dual sim, and fast network speed
5. 8mp camera with flash , and af
6. 5 inch large screen
cons:
1. Those who are concerned about the display. Its just a qvga screen having 180 ppi. but i am not feeling any type of display in comfort due to that. touch is awesomly smooth
2. camera quality could have been better. but excellent video recording
3. camera shutter key is missing.
4. audio quality could have been better. but works outstandingly with poweramp and bass booster.
verdict : best value for money.. no regrets . go for it, if you are concerned about budget, or else go for s3.

I own a unit. I find the continuous input not intelligent enough when compared to my another device S3. On 9082, i find it quite quite to swype the word i want but on 9300 it can read my swype well enough. Anyone else experiencing such problem as well? Any way to improve it?
