If you set power saving on, the, it shows 800mhz. It reduces processor clock to save battery. Thats very much fine.

The display quality is average. No ips or AMOLED. Better have a look at Sony Xperia L or Xperia S. Nokia Lumia 720 is a nice alternative to this phone.
