When you keep your phone near to ear and it will go black because of a function, there will be a "-" on top of phone.. When something blocks it while in a phone call the screen will go black... No need to worry.

I'm going to buy galaxy grand in 12 June but I see lots of people having lots of problems with this device . So can someone reply me and tell me if this issues are going to be fixed or not . I like this phone's big screen and price :(

Friends I have bought a galaxy grand yesterday. But now I am facing problem. From today evening when I get calls or messages or in alarms also the phone is announcing the caller name or massager name and the alarm time. How can I turn off this notification announcement because I am a new guy to android.

Bought this phone couple of weeks ago and installed 2 recent updates but sometimes the phone hangs or freezes to an extent that it shows a black screen then returns back to normal in a couple of minutes. The phone locks then normally but after being unlocked the problem still remains unsolved due to which restarting this phone becomes a last resort to bring it back to normal. I hope that Samsung takes this issue seriously and releases a stability issue update in the nearest future otherwise using this phone would a headache.

Considered for low end devices... While samsung galaxy grand have dual core arm cortex A9 processer... Rest if you go through the specification you will find Micromax have only the better screen resolution as compared to samsung galaxy grand...

i bought the samsung galaxy grand in last month of 29.3.2013. it is good set.its internet was so fast.and every one app also nice and gameing is so fentastic in this mobile.
