This is a waste phone.
It does not have the below features :
>> No sound profiles (silent, vibrate etc).
>> No 'My folders' option (like in symbian nokia phones).
>> All softwares get installed only in phone memory.

I bought this phone 10days ago and it is brilliant! Wide screen, easy touch, good sounds and it never hang. But i noticed one thing, discharge so fast! Any suggestion or any free apps for battery saver, i found some but its all junk! Overall Samsung Galaxy Grand simply and worth it! :)

mobile manufacturers are exploiting us. compare a android loaded moblie with windows loaded mobile ,u wil understand. a windows phone come with more hardware spec for less money . we users can even think of dual boot option. getting a windows phone and also haveing an option to boot with android(dual boot). watch ytube for dual boots

AnonD-125970, 25 Mar 2013The upcomimg nokia lumia 720 is a much better phone than th... moreu r right. windows phone are rich in hardware. you get a dual core qualcomm processor in lumia 520 for just 10,000. screen res is 420x840,and a 4.3'' screen. true that windows phone has less apps and games support. but apps now a days bring malware which is a down side for android.

got this phone 15 days back. in the begining it was good to use , but as the phone memory was nearly full after installing many games and applications , it hangs a lot and Apps 2 sd does not work with this device so my 16gb ext memory card is unused and the internal memory is almost full....plzz anyone help me move apps 2 ext memory card....waiting for ur replies....

Being an indian, I think you'll understand our obsession with bargaining and buying things at the cheapest possible rates! It's the same thing with Micromax...trying so hard to imitate international brands at amazing prices that indians will fall in love with! LOL! XD

damn, i bought this phone couple of weeks ago, and you know what?- i ended up in a conclusion that all other smartphone iwas not even to 1% compare to the capability of this samsung grand. its the best phone in the planet. i even drop it off for 5 metrs down, to my surprise not even a micro scratch... damn! this phone lives forever! ... man, youve got to have this, and passs it on to your grand, grand child....... maybe thats where the grand name came for.....grand because it lives forever, in and out.... next test ill try this while rock climing

had this phone for 5 days already, bought here in the philippines at 16990php with free flip cover. here's my own review/ hands on experience:
*display is great, despite the numbers of PPI
*multi view is excellent (able to open chrome and internet at the same time)
*battery could last for 2 days with dual sim on and power saving mode on. (wifi and others are off to preserve battery)
*turned both networks to 2g mode only to preserve power of battery
just my 2 cents (or centavos as what we call here) :)
