baseband version ma9 is the latest . Do check it.
Installing latest firmware without any intenet pause is essential otherwise u may feel litttle bugs.
In that case reinstall via kies.

Hi Friends.. Need your immediate attention.
I m using samsung Grand for almost a month.Everything as of now is fine but one peculiar problem i am facing with this mobile is "Sometimes i am not able to send sms(Vodafone and airtel).It doesnt give any response regarding the status of message.It remains in sending status.I have to switch off the mob and i am switching it on after 5minutes.Then it works fine."Whether you guys faced this issue?
If so please give your suggestion. Please respond to this Query and leave your suggestion.

Using this phone for last 1 month .... overall satisfied with the purchase ...
-Screen is good
-touch is awesome thanks to jelly bean
-Camera is really good (better than my Nikon S3100)
-1080 video recording is awesome (video looks great on my Sony LED H750)
-playing games like temple run 1 , 2 , subway surfer without lag
- web browsing is smooth
- Audio call quality is really good
- headphone music awesome
-loudspeaker is very load (need to keep ringtone volume at 50%)
-My daily usage is 1.5 Hrs calling, 1 hr browsing downloading, 0.5 Hr music, 1 hr gaming and battery lasts for 2 days ...
Only thing My grand takes 3 hours to charge ... other grand users how much time it is taking for charging ???

Laxman , 12 Mar 2013Hello every one, I want to by newly brand SAMSUNG Galaxy... morehi Laxman ... i am using grand for last 1 month ...i would say this is a very good phone... my friend has S2 ....S2 screen is sharper but Grand screen size is larger and contrast , color reproduction is better.... S2 will not get any Jelly bean update ...jelly bean is very smooth as compared to old android versions...I suggest you go to any samsung smartcafe ... they have running handsets for all models... review yourself and take a decision ... if you r ready to buy S2 then i would say purchase S3 instead

i am using this phone for last one month ....No problems so far ....But all Grand users be careful while updating software .... in last week first i tried to update my mobile through Samsung kies ... i tried 3-4 times but i was not successful... then i tried on my GPRS internet .... in 4th attempt firmware update was successful .... but i faced some minor issues with the updated firmware ...silent and mute was not working fine ....after 20 minutes of usage display colors were changing .....So i went to service centre and the resolve the issue .....So update firmware if you only have 3G connection .... do not update through GPRS .....if any packet is lost then firmware becomes unstable.
