planning to buy this phone first week of march, just wondering for those who have a galaxy grand duos, can you please confirm that it supports USB OTG like stated here at gsmarena. thanks in advance.

manjuntha iam yousing this mobile for long back but this mobile is verey good but reat is verey costliy informetion given to the cus to dont by this cand fof mobile and your working in small company mins just you can by some other mobile informetion given to the cus // mahadev

Missing some important features in the Grand, TV-Out, HD display, document editor etc. In this range of phones these features should definately be added.

Great Business Phone for those people that travel or look after multiple countries. I've had dual sim HaiPai Nobles, Galaxy Y Duos, Galaxy S Duos and now the Grand Duos. I have my NZ and Australia SIMS in the phone and it works really well. No lag in openning apps like there was on the "S" Duos. Good screen size but not too big that it doesn't fit in a suit jacket or trouser pocket. Battery life that lasts an average day from 7:00am - 10:00pm with calls emails and a bit of route planning on maps & tripview.
If you are a gamer or a movie viewer, screen res may be a negative but that's not my usage. The only other slightly negative is only one SIM slot is 3G. (But it is Telstra Australia's 3G frequency, unlike my previous Galaxy S). I'd recommend it, well worth the USD445

Guys this smartphone here in PH. cost like SGS3 mini
i prefer this one to all of you with the choice of getting GRAND or S3 mini
the only thing i dont like is that samsung say it has 8GB internal memory but the other 4 GB is consumed by the OS and otherbuilt in apps. also the RAM of my device is 804MB. dunno if it is equivalent for what they say 1GB RAM
the screen is 800x480. so dont expect that it has a high end quality for 5.0 in display. but it is good for its price for approx. US 400$
its back is similar to SGS3. but the "duos" in the front make it look different.
but this are things that i like much
-direct call
-smart stay
-smart alert
-face tag
-pop up play
-tap to top
-multi window
-tilt to zoom
-& many features similar to S3 mini. i think that S3 mini's price is equivalent for this because of its superAMOLED screen so they say.
but this one is much better for it 5.0" display
1.2 Ghz processor, and compare to S3 mini with also 8GB, sorry 4GB internal memory in our country.
im very hapy with this phone. because when it comes out the box it has the latest firmware with Android 4.1.2.. im just tryin' to compare both because i prefer to get S3 mini but when i found out this one. this makes my choice. it has a much higher specs. not considering what samsung superAMOLED screens or whatever thats for..

Pretty good for a mid range phone. Ive installled six guns, justice league efd, temple run 2, and still works great. No lags or hiccups. I also noticed that the audio amplification is better than the s3 and s2 ( i have both of them of course). Sound is almost similar to the loudness of galaxy s with voodoo sound. So far so good. Im using it for about 2 weeks already. Highly recommended. Screen resolution is not that good but remember the price is only half of the note 2. (Just dont compare it to super amoled resolutions). And one more thing, it runs on dual sim. Happy with this phone.

Why do you put memory internal 8GB? Its not correct. This phone has 4GB memory internal.
I live in Brazil and this phone is I9082L and have only 4GB memory internal...

yes now Samsung grand firmware update available in India. I have updated latest firmware I9082XXAMB3 to my device.It's working fine. Guys you can able to update firmware through kies or auto update from your mobile.
