today purchased galaxy grand..iam i... moreTo comment on any mobile phone after paying 20 grand one must know basics of phone before posting comments.
1- the processor.2-ram, 3 - internal memory 4-battery capacity 5- external interfaces the phone can support viz usb, 3.5 inch port etc.
Other mandatory feature on a phone are Wi-Fi.blue tooth,3G support,gps,etc
The phone must support apps like call Secretary, class recorder, voice over internet, messenger like whatsapp etc.which I find is very useful to many of us.along with one app which controls our mails
I have observed that many phone available in market would have compromised the above feature for some less important features like phone camera, big screen size and games to some extent
If one understands the phone requirement you will understand that the high end expensive phones are the only ones that are useful especially with android OS.buying phones with compromised specification leaves you with a feeling of being cheated.
Pl see the specification of Xiaomi Mi2 to understand my observations.

Guys I purchase this phone one week back and I am very happy with it but only thing is when I ran nenamark2 its shows me only 30fps but I read opions of others they had upto 60fps.
Help me guys is there any problem with my handset.
Except this no issues.

You need to write about Dual Sim signal quality and USB-OTG ability Auto Brightness sensor,Cores are of which kind Eg.Cortex a9 a7etc,Gpu and Many more...

RAM available is 800mb out of 1gb, which is not fare i have seen devices like htc desire sv they write 768mb ram and its actually there for user sammy should write 800mb, d nt fool people

ONE MORE THING THAT I NOTED is grand does not have proper white balance, actual gray text just looks black in grand,and actual white color background in any page looks bluish, so these are the things grand lacks in

It supports only MTP and PTP ie to Windows/Mac PC & Cameras, MTP-Not Supported PCs.
There is no option for USB Mass Storage. I tried to crack activate it but didn't work.
The "USB Options" Menu found in older Galaxy S devices is missing but not to worry at all. I have successfully transferred all kinds of files without any problem, even though the file type is not supportive in the device.

today purchased galaxy grand..iam impressed with 5 inch dual sim phone.
8 mp camera
over all satisfactory..
i can play HD songs also.

Loaded my phone with some full hd videos and they are playing smoothly , no lag. Battery gave me 1 day 4 hours of backup despite playing with grand all day long which include installing apps setting accts etc etc.. Experience of 5 inch screen is superb easy in pocket.

Bought this phone from Univercell on 2nd Feb 2013. Great phone at great price. People are comparing this phone with HTC one X, Samsung galaxy S3 and Note 2. That itself shows the success of this phone. At such a low price 21,000 (including 1500 flip book cover), you don't have any other alternative. Forget about the average quality Micromax, I am referring to only global giants. I've tried Micromax, the voice reception and quality is not up to the standard.
And guys check out the quadrant and other benchmark test scores. You will be amazed to see that Grand duos performs most of the high end phones and the FPS is 60 which is in the range of HTC one X and S3.

Galaxy S2 v/s GRAND- SAMSUNG GALAXY S2 GT-I9100 is the best phone ever at an affordable price.galaxy s2 is better than grand except the case of dual sim.
Grand have No LED screen only LCD,bt also s2 have SUPER AMOLED+ screen,no GORILLA GLASS protection,no HDMI,no DIVIX HD,no GPU,no NFC,(bt s2 has all these features above mentioned) 4gb user internal where s2 have 12gb.bt grand have 64gb supp.where s2 have only 32gb.also it have 4.0 v BT where s2 have only 3.0v,less resolution (ppi) than s2(217-s2,187-grand).@eldhovarghese8
