My current phone is Sailfish OS based Jolla (made by ex-nokians) and my previous one was Legendary Maemo OS Nokia N900 - mobile computer with phone feature. I bought this Samsung Galaxy Grand Max for my wife after analyzing all android phones as she wanted an android phone. In the entire samsung lot, I liked only Note 3 and this Galaxy Grand Max. We purchased this Grand Max and we are satisfied with the performance and specs in every aspect. I still stand by my earlier comment - i.e., the speakers are not that bad as some of them say and the touchscreen is very good. By the way, regarding the lollipop update link, I never said it is from samsung.. I just said its custom ROM available and I am confident that samsung will release it officially for grand max in future.

Its better to buy Lenovo A6000 plus as its half the price and the specs are almost similar. Grand Max has a better camera but A6000+ has 2GB RAM. The CPU, GPU and chipset is the same in both the handsets. You get a better UI in Lenovo. Grand Max's dialer and Contacts App are very poor.
