Differences in the dual sim version of the Grand Max sold by Snapdeal from the international version: -
1. No 4G/LTE
2. No Compass
3. WCDMA 2100/900/850 instead of WCDMA 2100/1900/900/850
4. Model number is SM-G7202 instead of SM-G720N0
Conclusion: The version sold by Snapdeal is a renamed Galaxy Grand 3, not the Galaxy Grand Max.
Search for model G7202 on the GSMARENA search window and this becomes obvious....
However, it is still worth the price at which Snapdeal sells it (Rs. 14499/- at last count{US$ 233})
But phones like the Lenovo A6000 are fast catching up, as the A6000 and its like have the same chipset and specs but a 5" screen and 1GB RAM, but with 4G and are sold at Rs. 6999/-(US$ 132)

navin, 17 Mar 2015which mobile is best. Grand prime or grand max. Plzzz suggest The Grand Max is an upgraded version of the Grand Prime. It has the same chipset and general configuration, but is upgraded in screen size, quality (TFT to IPS) and resolution. Front selfie camera stays at 5MP but is wider angle. Back main camera is upgraded to 13MP. The two phones are almost identical in size, in spite of the Max's larger screen, due to bevel reduction. Battery is reduced a bit, but I have not found this to be a problem. The Max has a slightly premium feel to it. There is a bit of a difference (about 25%) in cost between the two, so which one is better for you would depend upon budgetary constraints. Max has a weak rear loudspeaker/ringer, while there are no such reports from the Prime.

vivek, 19 Mar 2015which volume is slow of grand max Loud speaker or headphone... moreLoudspeaker/ringer is a bit soft. Earpiece is as loud as any other phone. Have not tried the supplied headphones with this model yet.

This is a good looking phone too and back design is very cool but it would look much more better if it had given Galaxy A7 like curves which is very attractive. No worry. Design is not bad. Its pretty nice.Plus, Samsung provides durablity, Nice Experience and Good camera (which is according to me is better than Sony, HTC and other brands) in his every set.
I was very dissapointed by Grand 2 due to its 1gb RAM and 8 gb internal storage. It was not worth 20k. This Grand Max is a superior phone which I think will discontinue Grand 2.
Well, A Nice Phone to buy. Superior look. Nice Camera. Great UI. Super Slim. It supports WIFI Direct too. Great Phone
It is not Super Amoled and just 286 PPI.
Well don't mind its the best phone under 15k if you want quality phone. If you don't mind the Quality then YU Yureka but I suggest go for Grand Max.
