I'm going to wait for this phone to be released in my country. The Camera is 13mp and that's so cool for the grand series. ^_^
Grand prime's only 8mp and it's not HDR unlile the Grand max :)
It's just that, the battery has a small mAh for a 5.25" IPS screen which, according to my research, consumes more battery than the TFT.
Other than that, it looks like a pretty decent device. Tho I know it will cost the consumers more because of some upgraded features.
It also has an ambient light sensor (?) which the grand prime lacks. Its selfie camera has a 120°angle like that of the A5 (?).
How I wish it will be released here before my birthday. :)

I think Samsung should cut down their production of new phones. I mean, they always release a lot of phones.
and I hope, this model would be just a little higher in price with the grand prime...

GSMArena please review this phone , particularly from AUDIO angle as you do for other phones. Atleast let the prospective buyers know about its maximum speaker audio and ringtone volumes in db. A phone should also be judged from its Audio output/Quality, the prime purpose of a phone which is a communication device.

I own a grand 2 and this successor is so unworthy that Samsung hasn't even launched it in India.
Seriously Samsung is the weirdest phone maker like Nokia.

Mr prem kumar I did not advertised here galaxy e7.So why are u telling that grand max is better than galaxy e7..and I think e7 is better than grand max with 2 gb ram,super amoled screen..and e7 has also 13 MEGA PIXEL CAMERA WITH FLASH..

Hi,dear friends.According to the psycho linguistics intelligence knowledge,the aim of criticism logically should be construction but not destruction!That's one who criticizes a brand product cares,likes and supports the brand!This grand 5 or max is the modified version of all previous grands with some tangible modifications!The grand 5 design,features,performance put it in the mid midrange classes!Other specifications are acceptable.It could have at least 2 g ram,NFC,predictive text input and the chance of upgrading to put it in the high midrange class!?The wifes,cameras and browser are satisfactory.The front camera is 5 with the 1080 p that's an advantage but the price according to the grand 5 class is too high for the time being with too many rivals like Sony experia c3!!!?I myself put this grand 5 to my wish list and wait for the GSMarena review!Thanks all,Samsung the uncle,and the GSMarena assistances.Justice Rights.
