I called the service center about the low battery life after lollipop update. Thet said to use the phone in safe mode for 2 hours. Has anyone done this. Does this even work to increase the battery life

@Ajay In order to rectify the issue, do a reset from recovery. Follow options from http://www.hardreset.info/devices/samsung/samsung-g720n0-galaxy-grand-max/. Hope it helps.
