Rocky, 04 Sep 2015I did not receive any lollipop update for my Grand Prime? I... moreNot yet. Either you go visit Russia to get the update or install it manually yourself. They provide the lollipop rom. The Russian version is 5.0.2 and the US version is 5.1.1.

To b frank...original grand prime having 530 model num is awesome wen compared to value edition having 531 as model num...cam quality is truely 8mp..performance is satisfactory...i heared dat lolipop 5.0.2 did a great job in improving performance..thank u samsung for such an awesome device n gud update...hope u will continue giving service to it

For all of y'all complaining of hangin' laggin' heatin and all sort about the GGP, I suggest you root it and you'll sing a new song. its so cool and you still stand the chance of upgrading your phone to Lollipop. type, "using Kingroot to root root grand prime" and follow the steps. I did it and for days running now, i've experienced a different performance on my device.

Am using Smg530h the older grand prime 3g with snapdragon 410 chipset.For newer grand prime everyone complaining that FHD recording is not available.Is it really needed one??I have it.In my view a 720p rec is enough.FHD consumes too much memory.Also if the other processors like spreadtrum and marvel(in value edition) has same performance,then it is a good substitute for snapdragons warming issues.Also mali is a better gpu than adreno 306.I felt it.Moreover others have 4g capability.For me its just H+.

What the hell??!! Just bought a new Grand Prime and I went to the Play Store then BOOM!! The screen goes black with violet lines and different colors. Does anyone encountered this problem?
