I just got mine yesterday and woke up with an %18 from a %75. The battery life is okay, and I downloaded battery apps to boost it, turned down the brightness, and airplane mode. I clearly don't know much about Samsung, this being my first phone from them. If I turn on power saving mode, it turns on LTE mode, and I can't turn it off. Is it suppose to drain at night?!

hi all ....i need an advice tomorrow i want to buy grand prime ..........is it worth ?! can anyone say issiues of good thing to buy this phone or not....hope to help me thank you all !

This is by far the worst smartphone I've ever tested. I need to remove the battery between 3 to 5 times per day. It hangs A LOT and all due to darn TOUCHWIZ that stops everytime.
I've been very tempted to destroy this piece of garbage but then I remember this is the only one I own and the feeling goes away. :( I'm switching to ONE PLUS 1 ASAP!

pasha, 05 Aug 2015I agree With u ikon, but grand prime hangs a lot I have to ... moreSry pasha...but my piece is too gud..infact it can run almost all apps..but yess i always clear ram while opening large games like asphalt8..just use ccleaner wch is v gud cache cleaner..u will find d diff...by d by my piece is made in VIETNAM..m just informing u..once in a day u have to clear ram n app cache data...then no1 knows wats hang but smetimes u may find little laggyness due to os.

I'm saying it truly it has hanging problem a lot if u have install no app it will still hang in camera. Home screen. WiFi on off and other functions someone said its apps problem I say its set problem not of apps so much hanging that u can't run browser, instagram, play store and others takes about 2 to 3 minutes to just start those and other apps, all other things are very good, screen, camera design, flash etc, but hang problem is so bad

Samsung core prime runs very fast compared to grand prime grand prime hangs if u reset grand prime no result comes +be it will still hang don't know why it hangs it should run fast like other brands 1 GB ram but it not I think its company made problem in this set.

I agree With u ikon, but grand prime hangs a lot I have to w8 2 to 3 minutes to move blocks in candy crush game that's too much I have five g6c model it does not hang having same apps like grand prime it has hanging problem all other things r good in fact very good.

No matter how much ram we have half is always used. 1gb ram but 500mb something is used. Laggy phone is normal. Most phone become laggy after a while because of cache data accumulation. Just need to clear it up. Its like an old rusty chain that need some oil, thats all.

Sham, 05 Aug 2015please tell me frnd.. is your phone 3G or 4G??? this set is 3g. lte not supported in version officially released in pakistan but it has lte in its international versions

this set is awesome. only issue with this one is that it hangs after 2 or 3 weeks and it needs to be restart

I purchase my SGGP 530H last year, December 09,2014, since then I never experience any problem on my unit. The quality of the camera is superb. As per my observation and base on what i had read from other users ( Samsung galaxy grand prime close group), lag problem occurred base on the applications downloaded by users which is a common problem i guess to all kinds of smartphones brands. We need to be selective in terms of downloading applications in our phones. I suggest you only download apps that are commonly use and necessary.

Wats wrong with all of u guys...m a gp user since january still m in love with dis...every 1gb mbl lags sometimes...bekoz of ANDROID os...1st u people learn how to handle a phone with 1 gb ram...trust me i always play asphalt 8..candy crush soda other 4 small games...sometimes it lag but not always..much better to all other 1gb ram mobiles

[deleted post]But if you buy samsung core prime its very fast compare to grand prime core prime screen same to grand prime and core prime is fast but core prime is 4.5 inches screen and grand prime 5 inches, thats difference, grand prime hangs alot but core prime have no problem like that.

If you buy a honor 4c you may buy a battery bank with it.. because it's battery drain so fast. 1% decrease about 1 minute.. some times phone gets off without any use within 8 hours after charged..
so I think grand prime is good.
also the core prime is good... no any lag.. also the cameras are good
. battery life is awesome.. you can use it 2days by browsing internet, play games without charging.. core prime battery is 2000mah but can't believe.
the decision is in your hand. don't waste your money for a bad phone..
