I think that is because this is a mid range low life phone mem card slot is the 1st pat to die. I took it to a shop and they said i should change its motherboard. So i would say use it as long as it lives qithout changing the motherboard and try to take care of ot bcuz this phone has got some serious quality other than for the mem card slot. It has fallen from my hands like 100 times not even a single scratch. Have a nice day and i am happy to help.

Please HELP! My Galaxy Grand Prime phone will not notify me with sound for text messages I receive. I checked settings and it is set to notify me. I downloaded different notification sounds and they didn't work either. Have turned phone off numerous times with no luck. Have also removed and reinstalled battery, no luck. SOMEBODY!?
