U want a good front camera and good battery backup and you are not a heavy user go for prime.
U want a better screen better performance or if u think u r a heavy user go for moto g.
Grand 2 is good enough - has a better screen than prime and hasore RAM and is a tested device. But phone is old and will definitely b discontinued soon. So if u want to go only with samsung then prime would b a better option as lollipop update will also b available.
Basic Drawbacks of prime and moto g over one another on which people keep on querreling are -
Moto g gives a battery backup of hardly a day.
Prime shows lags with heavy usage.
There are a few more drawbacks with each phone but these are basic. Decision is yours. No one here's gonna help u after a wrong decision so choose wisely.

I've used my friend's grand prime, awesome battery backup but I was not satisfied with it's display quality & gaming experience, I've got moto g 2014 & I'm really happy with it, the only issue we've on it is battery issue else it's just awesome, sweetest phone to me. Also I bet samsung is not going to release 5.1 for grand prime while motorola is even releasing it for moto e 1st gen & so :')

sew, 08 May 2015im using this phone for 3 months.suddenly phone went off an... moretry any other charger & try to charge it via your laptop/computer's usb port, if still it's not charging if possible try with an other battery, else visit the center again :')

I bought the one that they display on the glass shelf. Yes, you can do that. At least I know that one on display is working perfectly since it is maintain everyday by the store employees. They even update the apps to the latest including ota firmware update. Been using it for several months without any fault or hangs. Some store may not allowed customer to buy the product on display but some would.

I got G Prime 3 months ago. It has a superb battery and great rear and front cameras. But it lags all the time while browsing internet or Facebook. I don't have a single game in my phone not even a light game. It eats RAM horribly. 70-90% of RAM is always busy!! MY old galaxy S2 is also 1g RAM and it's RAM usage is far better and never lags.

im using this phone for 3 months.suddenly phone went off and i went to a samsung customer center.they kept my phone for 3 days and today i got it.they told me they changed mother board.but now this is not charging??!!!!!! what should i do?

Hey guys i have grand prime 15days old
- good camera front and back (very good for selfie)
- battery life is awesome
- gaming is ok because i'm not playing high graphics game
Guys can u help me how many RAM left on the device tnx
and Youtube only 480p quality?
i will take care my Grand Prime because this is my early gift from my father :)
