It is a very good smartphone but the but falls behind due to 2 reasons why someone buys a Samsung smartphone and that is:
1. Soft keys (home & back) not available
2. Notification LED light not available

This is very nice phone! And it is much better if Samsung will have an update for this 64 bit monster. And yes, I read this latest article from androidsilverprogram.com that Samsung include Grand Prime to get the LOLLIPOP.
Check out the list. Hopefully all Prime user will receive this update in a month or two.

For me, it is all in one compact smartphone with merely all features such as GPS, selfie, wi-fi etc.
GOOD PRICE WITH ESSENTIALS FEATURES, I ENJOY IT..
(it would be the best/complete smartphone for 3 years back..)

Dear Samsung, after updating to its latest firmware upgrade, the HDR mode in camera is NOT working properly (doesn't take multiple photos). Please fix this ASAP!

Amazing phn very nice battery time, both cameras are just awesome and ram are enough if you are not a wild user of apps.
Overall i rate this phn 8/10

For you to have a better battery life. Upon purchase, make sure you drain the battery until 20%. Then charge your phone for about 5-6 hours straight.I'm doing this for all the gadgets that I have and until now I experience long talk and internet time with my gadgets. Just make sure you don't over charge them after the 5-6 hour cycle. Ofcourse for the couple weeks of using a new phone it really drains the batt too fast but after that like going 3rd to 4th weeks of using the phone you will notice the difference in your battery life. Hope this will help!

Irfaan, 16 Feb 2015Restart your phone and perhaps your hanging and slow phone ... moreOr you can install an app (tasl killer) it will help you form shut down the unnecessary apps running in the background and it will save your RAM space. I used this for a long period of time and it works esp when ur running multiple apps in the background.

Yes! I am using this phone for a month and i never experienced for hanging, overheating or any battery issue. this phone is a quite amazing in performance specially the processor speed, oh... so fast. the front and rear camera are great, the screen is great even you are using under the sun.the music volume is loud enough and i am playing any latest HD games. This is considered as a great phone I've ever had.
