I bought this phone on New Year and I would say that it is an awesome phone by Samsung. You will not be disappointed and surely you will be happy.
Simply if you need a phone with better camera, better battery and better display also with dual Sim, then go for it. No other phone will match in this price group, go for a brand instead of other stuff you will feel the difference.
Highlights of this phone are
1. Superb 5mp front camera for selfies (with selfie modes updated) and 8mp back camera is also very good, both photo and HD video are coming excellent.
2. Excellent battery backup, will last more than 1 day with average use and 1 day for heavy usage.
3. I did not face any lag in this phone, even with 3D games like Deer hunter etc.
Missing things,
1. LED Notification not there, but it’s not an issue anyway
2. Gorilla Glass protection not there, we can use scratch guard anyway.
3. OTG not supported, I don’t feel much for this.
If you cant afford for a costly phone from samsung, go for this is quite cheap and best.

Using the device for a month. RAM management is not good. Installed couple of apps like Facebook, instagram, messenger, whats app, twitter, linked in etc. (No game) and the set has a very low RAM remaining. Moreover, when I start the mobile data or connect to wifi, the phone hangs and even taking a call becomes problematic in that time.

i bought one in saudi arabia and there are no selfie modes in the front camera settings. anybody here have this experience too?

Allen Jay, 19 Jan 2015Bought this one but the unit is slow in responsiveness as c... moregrand 2 price was 23000 when it was launched while grand prime was launched at 15500 so there is a big price difference so features is difference but grand prime has better camera processor than grand 2 ....only grand 2 has big screen and 1.5 GB RAM which grand prime lacks but its price difference so in this price this features is enough...even my friend has grand 2 but sometimes it also lags..

The worst phone for gamers. Cant play well even asphalt 8, while the ace 3 (far less price) can play smoothly without lags..
