Grand prime is a nice phone for its price range. For $200 in Pakistan, it is android 4.4.4 large 5 inch display qHD 21 GB ram 1.2 Quad core 64 bit processor and importantly its camera with selfie 5mp.
After using for more than a month I can give my conclusion. For different people it is different choice,for camera conscious people it is best amongst note 2 S4 Z2 and great for selfies. Similarly it had better processing power than s3 grand 2 etc.
It has by far amazing battery life just amazing!
Some of direct disadvantages of grand prime, it has poor multitasking due to lower ram, minimum standard nowadays 1.5gb or more, it hangs sometimes while using heavy games or HD apps.
It has low internal memory, 5gb user available, and due to KitKat heavy games or games data cannot be moved to SD card, similarly all downloads will be coming to phone memory first. Only apps apk are moved to SD and camera only. Rest moving is manual due to ktkat 4.4.4.
Its display is bit dim due to low resolution 540x960. 720p could be good but due to low price this is it.
So at the moment I am pretty satisfied with my grand prime due to its functions, amazing 8mp back can and 5mp front camera, amazing battery life, easily rooted (lolipop possible manually), nice design,dual sim and large display!
My tips for heavy users, Root it first, kindly use 32GB SD card for larger backup and making games data backup, then you won't be facing low memory problem.
For Medium users just use move2sd apps for better memory management and Root it in case you find it necessary.
Remeber it is $200 smartphone, if you want 3gb ram, 2.7 Octa core processor, QHD OR 4K Display, water proof, 20MP 2160p camera and 120fps then go for Sony Z4 Note 4 iPhone 6 plus. Grad prime is $200 not $800+

used for 2 months today it gave me big problem like hang too badly while using whatsapp cricbuzz or bookmyshow..whenever my friend call call never connect....subway surfers started lagging....there was no problem in my device but today it gave me problem this is called SAMSUNG GRAND PRIME AFTER MONTHS GAVE PROBLEM...

Recently I purchased new Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. most oftenly it happends that I cannot call from my cell phone. And other callers are responded that dialed no cannot be connected. How this problem can be solved?

using this grand prime from 1 month but today it started lagging touch screen sometimes doesnt response not using many app or games then also its not working...help
