hi, I read the post of Robotpotato and I was enlightended that Grand prime is a little as good as the grand 2.
My question is...is it as good as the grand 2 as well in terms of playing and watching movies?

Both Grand 2 and Grand Prime have 5.2gb user available internal storage out of the box. Both support lpddr2 and lpddr3 but they both use lpddr2. But due to the fact that Prime has a newer SD410 chipset with 64bit capability, it is able to perform better than the Grand 2 which has the older SD400 chipset. In Antutu 5, Grand 2 scores around 18k while Grand Prime scores around 21k. In Quadrant, Grand 2 scores around 8.4k while Grand Prime scores around 12.1k. Now, I'm not saying that one is better than the other. Both devices are good. I'm just trying to correct the wrong information that you are spreading.

Anonymous, 02 Dec 2014I also noticed this.. is that really normal for this phone?... morethese are UI problems which are quite often because of heavy user interfaces. samsung always uses heavy UI which most of the times creates lags or such problems. This UI is named as touchwiz and is not good for want lag free very smooth experience. Such UI problems may get solved only after some update, but that too not sure.
stock UI of nexus series and motorola phones is the only UI that gives fastest and smoothest experience because its the lightest one. But some people dont like it that much because its very simple and sober.

prime has 5 inch 219 ppi so g2 has bigger and better screen g
grand 2 has 1.5 ddr3 ram prime 1 ddr2 ram
so g2 better for multitasking
grand 2 has light sensor prime no have
only postive thing than grand2 is front
cam5 mp vs 2 mp
internel memory grand 2 has5.2 for user prime has 3.9
so grand 2 is win again
but overall grand 2 is win in every way
because grand 2 is the boss of grand series while prime and neo is secondary

AnonD-297163, 02 Dec 2014My prime hangs in most of times like playing games or 2 or ... morei bought a samsung galaxy grand prime just this monday and believe me, it wasn't a great experience. i have already sent it back and asked for a refund. the phone lags and hangs and black outs more than it runs. not even whatsapp runs smoothly. camera is good, call quality is good WHEN you are able to pass through the enormous time it takes ( due to hanging ) to reach these options. battery drains fast, even when no apps are running. i am hugely disappointed. and i am not the only person complaining about it.

i'm using this phone about 2 weeks now .. it's very very good phone .. i like it so much .. fast,no lag, no heating
but there's an update about 48 mega .. i want 2 ask is there any problem with it ?

Just purchased it, and battery drains very fast.. tried to uninstall apps, observed and battery lasted only for 3hrs... observed and so long as wifi is on battery just drains very fast.. is this normal?
