Its too hard to get a bad phone at this price. you just compare it with others and then you'll get to know that its not a step ahead by samsung but its a step taken by samsung to somehow compete in this range otherwise they are losing ground here.
And even after this they are unable to put -
a gyroscope (not so important so leave)
a notification light (a bit disappointing)
a ambient light sensor (quite disappointing)
ppi not impressive at all.( obviously at this price why should I go for less when every other brand is giving more)
Not sure about updates (lollipop is there, but what about further improvements, because most of the time first update brings bugs and then small updates after that major update bring stability)
No backlight in buttons below screen.
No OTG support ( means no pen drive attachment possible)
Even though it has better battery but still I dont think it can beat its big competitors which are killing market right now (like Lumia 730 and moto g)
See i am not saying that the phone is bad. In fact it looks good but samsung is not properly giving attention to competition. It could have been far better. I mean at least OTG support is a need not an accessory now a days. In fact pen drives are already coming with USB otg point attached to them.

This phone is amazing.Touch is so smooth and also speed is very fast as compared to other samsung phones. I just love this phone.

yes , if you have otg you should be able to connect to .google g530h and otg support. there is an otg connector , you have to use like condom in between.
i want to root the phone. it is still under warranty. so i dont think changing android version is an option. has anyone had experience rooting without changing android version ?
the biggest problem i did not think of - it i now cannot root the phone easily. i cannot even find the adp drivers and samsung skies does not recognize the phone. there was suppose to have been some mtp option to enable media but i cannot find this option in my kitkat.so i am unable to communicate with my sd card unless i remove it physically.
i have'nt dug into this more though.
camera is nice.
app response is also good.
other features are fine.
