I think it is hilarious that I was just on Androidforums.com about to find out about rooting a ZTE Citrine phone that was released in March of this year and only found a thread that some guy asked about rooting the Citrine, which is newer than this Samsung Prime and not that far off on specs. He went and told me that he instead of figuring and getting an answer to get the Citrine rooted that he purchased this older, year and half ago released phone over the newer one. Just to be rooted. WTF? Plus, he paid triple or more for the Prime than the Citrine. What kind of sense does that make? Pay more just for a rooted device? Then he tells me that people prefer larger screens is why smaller screen phones are not being supported for rooting. I had a older LG Optimus Fuel that was rooted with smaller than the Citrine. Has nothing to do with screens size at all. Nothing about what he said. It has to do with how old the phone is. The newer the phone the less chances to get it rooted right away. I feel sorry for people that rather pay more just for a get a phone rooted. Does not sound smart way to do things to me, especially when rooting a phone ruins the warranty anyways. Oh well, I hope he enjoys wasting money like that. I would never buy an older phone around the same specs just for a rooted device capability.

How can I update to Lollipop version? I have been constantly checking for updates and today I have updated it but it is still Kitkat version. Hope someone can assist me.

Use Yellow booster .By this My grand prime has become smooth and near about 400 mb ram always remains free . Don't use Clean Master , It itself consumes a lot of ram .It also slows your grand prime instead of Boosting performence .

It is the slowest from 5% to 0%. Don't worry. Most phone is like that. I heard grand prime was supposed to be using Lollipop from the beginning since it is Samsung first 64bits smartphone but android kitkat only support up to 32bits. Lollipop is much faster in performance and that could be why battery go down faster. is it android 5.1.1?

hi, I have this phone sice 2014. now 2016 i recieve the android 5.0 update. The update was good, but why the battery life is so much worse?. I think every minute it's deducting 1%. I dont know why this is happening. my device is sm-g530gh
