K, 24 Oct 2014galaxy grand prime has although less resolution it consume ... moreWhat is use of power saving if screen itself is dull.for most of the people screen quality is important thing than power saving. They dont compromise on screen. Samsung use low resolution screen because it is cheap in cost and not for power saving. So defending low resolution screen on the basis of power saving is useless.
also if other brands give all many function(hd display otg nfc gorilla glass etc) in the same price then why don't samsun?
Samsung is spending 8-10 times more on marketing than other brands.and we want value for our money.if other brands give better features even at less price why should we go for it?

galaxy grand prime is awesome phone in this price range camera quality is awesome both front and back camera no lag no hang problem.....5 gb user available 1 gb RAM hd video recording supported..all Games and apps are supported what you want in mid range....only default music player not available but you can download in playstore....worth mobile....and please dont compare it with window phones it has different os ....all thing is different...just buy grand prime if you like...make grand everyday

you can also go for lumia 730... why???
1- 730 has OLED 720*1280 hd screen with 316ppi(higher ppi means rich screen). all this lacks in grand prime.
2- 730 has gorilla glass 3 protection which is not available in grand prime.
3- lumia 730 has NFC which lacks in grand prime.
4- 730 has Nokia's clearblack polarization on screen for best sunlight reliability.
5- 730 has 128gb sd card support.
6- all knows android gets slow down n lags after usage of 2-3 months but WP os never lags even after two years.
7- about camera quality. all knows Nokia is on top in smartphones camera innovation n quality. no one compete with Nokia in camera department.6.7mp nokia = >8 mp others (quality)......
8- about processors... 730 has SD400 cortex A7 n grand prime has SD410 cortex A53..
sd400= 32bit
sd410= 64bit
android kitkat 4.4.× not supports 64bit architecture. upcoming android 5.0 lollipop supports 64bit which update not coming to grand prime... so sd410 is useless here..
9- in benchmark there is no huge performance difference in sd400 n sd410..
10- if you r a hardcore gamer then don't buy grand prime.. because prime lags n hangs durig big HD games like asphalt 8... because of ram hungry nature of android.
11- WP Core architecture is different than android so,
WP 1gb ram= android 1.5-2gb ram.
so WP os handles big hd games perfectly without any lag even on low ram.
12- in design n build quality nokia's polycarbonate material gives tough build n premium look than samsung cheap low quality plastic.
13- this time microsoft even keeps 730 price less than grand prime..
14- about battery WP8.1 os is 30% more efficient than android.
final choice is yours...
n android lovers who don't know anything about WP os don't argue on baseless things...

Have u any kno... morethey all are expensive smartphone with super amoled display so samsung has to provide gorilla glass while smartphone in mid range samsung never provide gorilla glass otg nfc etc...samsung gives tft screen which is also good...you have to pay more if you want more features...while u r right other company give gorilla glass in mid range also ...all companies gives different specs and features although its midrange or high range phone...thnx

U forget Note 2, Note 3, Note 4, S3, S4 which have gorilla glass. Collect some info about gorilla glass on google than criticize others

If motorola were cheap brand google would not have manufactured nexus 6 with them.motorola and nokia gives much better quality than sam. Samsung glossy plastic and fake chrome ring feels as if we are using karbon or mmx or any cheap brand .so its very clear which is cheap. Samsung have less online sell because online buyers are smart buyers so they dont buy which is not value for money.xiomee sold thousands of sets in a second.motorola is also selling like a hot cake.motorola spending less on marketing and distribution thats why they are less costly.motorola use all branded hardware.dont make ur own statements nokia and moto are neither zero nor in loss at all.
