Hello!
I've been running the Kazakhstan HXCU1BOJ2 5.0.2 firmware on my G530H Dual Sim. Which was the latest firmware as I could tell, the OTA from the previous firmware to the one I'm on now was about 35 mbs in size. But an hour ago I got a 206 Mb OTA update notification. Does anyone know what's new in this one by any chance?

the phone is so slow and am thinking of upgrading the o.s from 4.4.2 to maybe lollipop.

Also, have you downloaded a lot of apps that are running in the background?
Are you gaming with this phone when the problem occurs?
Is the phone charging when this problem occurs?
What is the amount of available memory when this problem occurs? How much free RAM is available at the time? How much free Internal memory is available at the time? How much free SD Memory do you have when he problem occurs?

I had a LG Android phone that would for some reason lose 4G service and would show that the phone could only make 911 calls. My fix to this problem was to power down the phone wait a minute and power back up. Another thing that I did was completely turn off the phone, remove the battery, reseat the SD Memory Card and reseat the SIM card. I was thinking that perhaps there was a poor connection with one of these pieces of hardware due to the normal day to day use of the phone. Maybe the slight vibrations of normal use caused one of these components to have an intermittent connection.

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2016I agree. I've only had mine 6 months. Battery over heats ... moreWhen your problem does happen. Do you set the icon on the screen showing that the phone is charging even though the battery power is going down?
I've notices this type of problem when this condition occurs: With an LG Android phone I noticed that when the phone is on charge and an alarm comes on (wake up alarm used as an alarm clock to get me up) and the Snooze/Dismiss icon displays on the screen.
If the phone is disconnected from the charge cable with the alert still ringing and then the alarm is Disabled/Snoozed the phone will still show that it is charging even though it was disconnected. I noticed on a few occasions that the charging circuit somehow locks up and or software glitch causes the battery to discharge and warm up.
This may not be the same as what you're experiencing but the problem sounds somewhat similar.

You can try to factory reset your phone. Here are the steps below;
1. Turn your phone off.
2. Hold power up + home button + power button all together at the same time until the phone boots up, in this way you can enter the restoration mode.
3. After your phone vibrates you will then have the option to factory reset your device.
4. To toggle from the available menus, you can use the volume up and down keys, and to choose factory reset hit the power button once.
5. The restoration process will take place.
6. Your phone will automatically boot up and it will require setup like you did when you first use your phone.

I have Samsung Galaxy Grand prime for 1 year and 2 months, I rooted it with Kingroot also using Purify app and it got alot of hits and alot of falls but honestly its an amazing phone well the best if its Ram was just 2GB but its really awesome phone :)
