I bought it today
Advantages:
1) Crystal clear Display
2) Good viewing angles
3) Butter smooth touch response
4) Android 4.4.4 out of the box
5) 2600 mAh Battery
6) Fast processing
7) No lags or hang
8) Fast internet even 2G
9) Almost Looks like Galaxy S5
10) Reasonable price
Disadvantages
1) No default music player application
2) Front camera not that great

Like galaxy core 2, its price will be cut to 10000 indian rupees. Its specification are not too higher than core 2. Galaxy grand 2 current price 16330. why would waste Rs 5000 more. core 2 hase two weak points batary back up 6 to 7 hours (net surf) and video quality low (youtube). besides its a perfect phone with Rs 7800 with gps,3g,kitkat. samsung sometimes changes model names not software,hardware,performance only a bit specifications to entice the customers.

[deleted post]i think you should wait for grand 3 because it will be officially realsed in mid of october or in start of november with qhd display and blisstering processor with 13 mp rear cam and 3.7 of front facing

I was a strong fan of android but now after experiencing following problems I hate android
1. Too much battery consumption. I have to keep basic phon for calls.
2. Too much data consumption...1GB 3G data exhausts in one week on normal use.
3. No security from hackers..all your data is unsafe.
4. Unnecessary apps runing in background.
5. New os every 6months...hence purchase new handset.
