The phone is incredibly reliable, you can root it easily and if you install a custom ROM it's still a good phone to use daily

NL, 18 Apr 20202020 still going strong. Using it from 2014. Probably the... moreI cannot agree more. Disappointingly, I sold my Grand Prime like super cheap and it was still going strong as you say. I bought it on 7-8 January '2015 and sold it in February 2019. The handset never went for a repair but just had its color worn out from the back and sides. I thought it's time to redeem my device. But was shocked to know that it was resold to another person for just $15 bucks. Damn!

Using it from 2014.
Probably the best phone in it's class.

I brought grand prime(g531f) at 2015 December. Still working but lagging(plastic cover is almost color faded).. changed battery 2 times. Good 4g speed. But low ram is a biggest pain.. I disabled most of unwanted stock apps. I still want removable battery phone like grand prime with features like galaxy a20 has.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime is an excellent phone...I have been using mine from 2014 to 2020. Replacing now because of broken screen.

i have been using this phone for 3years now.i think the phone is nice,mostly love the camera so much.but has little problem with the network issue in some area.

Purchased in 2016 through national cellular company in Canada. One year later, problems started. Took back to Walmart where I bought it and was told it was a software issue, not fixable, "promotional" phone. Suggested I buy a more expensive phone. Really not happy with the phone or cell service company. Also, I can only get text pictures if I go on data. It won't open pictures in wifi or text mode.

Using for almost 5 years,performance of phone has decreased gradually,but still I think if I format then can use it like new.& no issue with hardware everything works fine,even once during rain I totally wet this phone
