I purchased one year ago(updated to Lollipop 5.0.2). My Prime's battery is in nowadays very poor. It reduces 100% to 86% in just 15 mins with no heavy usage. Battery drains very fastly. last few days only this problem. Any solution guys? help me...

I will never use Samsung phone again. I ran into all sorts of problems all the time and to seek support. Their solution - Factory reset. what a pain. This time even the factory reset did not work. Can not connect the phone to my PC via a USB. Was advised by Samsung support person to upgrade. Easy for him to say. He does not pay the money. I am done with Samsung. I resisted going to apple OS but now that they have the Driod on 6S I am in.

i had a galaxy 3 for years started having issues, i got a galaxy 4 ,but after 2 days, when i would talk on phone the top got real warm and people could not hear me or i them had to wait till the phone cooled down, i talked to t mobile, amd they talked ,e into this phone, went to Walmart and exchanged the phone, i loved the galaxy s series, but i was not going to pay the price if a s5 or s6, to my surprise this phone is great, i have o use wifi in my house it connects with no problems the s3 i would always have to shut it off and turn it on to get a good connection, and any app i put in it is working great, i always said a good android will work as good as a iPhone for a lot less money

i'm From Egypt . And the lollipop update is unavilable in my country . does the update official or it's just a custom rom ? .

Mitch, 08 Dec 2015i have this for a year now and it's becoming weird. it turn... moreme too!! I fully charged my Samsung Grand Prime, 5.1.1 Lollipop, when its battery turn into 45% below, it automatically shutting down. I don't know why.

Several of the above opinions are ill-considered. Example: unopene d messages and new updates are indicated on top of the desk top, w/o LED, but in form of a text message. Of course, when you come from an APPLE product you have to make an effort to learn a new operating system and many new menus. The phone connects easily to the internet provided you have a router for your home computer. It also connects easily to other servers, say at the hospital, the airport, at Starbucks and elsewhere . Unfortunately, a wake-up call does not work with the phone switched off. When the phone is "sleeping" in your pocket it easily wakes up when you somehow touch it. The camera is ok for "emergencies" but its quality is below any modern dedicated electronic pocket camera. Nevertheless, once I got used to the Samsung I like it, especially when you consider the price difference with any Apple smart phone!

Very limited as to which apps will work on this phone. Will not work with many video phones.

The cricket version of this phone is sm-g530az and has 1.4gig of ram.
The 1 thing i miss the most is having a led indicator for stuff like if the battery is charging or i have a message.

lackman, 07 Jan 2016You can use kingroot app to make it root ur deviceNot if you have cricket. Once the phone is restarted its locked. You can use samsung kies to restore it back to factory state via a computer.
