Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime lands in the US at Cricket

09 April, 2015

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime that made its international debut last fall is now available at a US carrier for the first time. Said company is Cricket Wireless, the AT&T subsidiary focused on prepaid plans.

The Grand Prime is already listed in Cricket's online store. It's priced at $179.99. Since this is a prepaid carrier, the price is without any long-term contract signing requirements. The device is in stock in white.

The smartphone comes with a 5-inch 540x960 touchscreen, an 8 MP rear camera, a 5 MP selfie snapper, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable internal storage, and a 2,600 mAh battery. At the helm we can find Qualcomm's Snapdragon 410 chipset with a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Adreno 306 GPU.

The Galaxy Grand Prime has 4G LTE, and it runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
