This is a terrible phone. Battery cannot handle apps. It keeps shutting them off. Had to get rid of facebook app. have had less than a month and want to chuck it. Can't even hear it ringing on full ball. Thought if I was going to buy a cheapish phone samsung would be best. Hmmmm. Sure wrong about that. My HTC was so much better.

Nash, 25 Jan 2017When i saw the samsung j12016 i really love its design, col... morethis happened to me on my previous phones 3x already. I noticed it has something to do when I charged it most of the time on my pc at the office. eventually it damages the battery. So what happen is i bought new batt and the shutting down is gone. After that I used it own charger to charge my phone and the until now I never experience it again.

My J1 (2016) randomly shut off and will not come back on. I tried taking out the battery and putting it back in. This didn't work so I though the battery was dead so I charged it for multiple hours and tried it again. After this didn't work I tried multiple other charger with no luck. I can't get it to boot in recovery mode either. Any suggestions?

When i saw the samsung j12016 i really love its design, color, and sizitits because i know samsung is a high quality of gadget i am not hesitant to buy it. But after a month using it. When i low the light its flickering! I dont know why its happening but it makes me upset. And now its still happening. I am so dissapointed. Now its difficult to open my phone. 😢 my phone are still new. Hayysss

I had read views of all and I understood that many of you are having problems of self restart.
I would like to give a solution -
You have to search for an software update for your device, if it's not available then you should move to manufacturer to report your problem then they will install the stock rom for your device.
you can also install stock rom for your device, but it's quite risky therefore you should install it under an expert.
Note- installing a stock rom will delete all your important data so it's better to take a backup on your pC. And software update will not erase your data.

Decent backup phone. But 8 GB of internal storage is inexcusable in 2016. Androids OS takes up half of your internal storage. And Android sucks with transferring apps to SD.
