Awful. The quad core processor is a nice addition but that ram is going to bottleneck it. And then there is the resolution from 1996. Wow

Would u rather always bring w/ u a camera,calculator,flashlite,etc and use dem as d need arises rather than hav all these functions in a phone just to prove a point? Dats quite unreasonable dont u think?

new galaxy j1 gives only 768 mb ram and 4g thats only difference between older and newer -very funny

After reading all the negative opinions about the J1,I consulted a friend who is an expert on the Galaxy line. I found the Galaxy J1 was tailored to my needs. If I want to take pictures I use a camera, not a phone. I do not use the device as a game toy either. I needed a phone with a large, bright screen, clear, large 24-pt font that was set, and a few other minor functions. The J1 was perfect, and into my first week I feel like, "A boy with a new toy". If you are not a business person, not a phone geek, not a games freak, radio freak, music freak, go for the J1. It was under 4,000 Thai Baht.

Too expensive for 768 MB RAM smartphone. Other brands with this price range, would already give you 2 GB RAM.
