After switching on the phone and when samsung logo appears then at that time press volume down button continuously until you see te home screen.
This setting lets you to enter in safe mode in which third party apps like Facebook, whatsapp will not work.
NOTE-YOU WILL HAVE TO KEEP THIS MODE FOR ONE DAY AND IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY SOLVE BATTERY ISSUE IF PROBLEM PERSIST THEN CHANGE YOUR BATTERY......

Some are com... moreSamsung developer team has successfully completed the marshmallow test on j2 and they have concluded that j2 is eligible for getting marshmallow update. So it will get the update soon as the date of arrival of update is not known but it will take some time as developing UI is not a cup of tea....i hope your query get cleared.

you better go with galaxy a series becoz galaxy j series has no compass for gps use..

i bought this device here in dammam saudi arebia...my problem is that my sim card is invalid..my sim came from phillipines.when i tried to insert it..says that sim network pin...so it needs pin. i already contact my sim network but they said that my device should open carriers network. what im gonna do now?whats the pin in this device so that my sim will be accepted in this device..plzz help me

yesterday Galaxy On5 got marshmallow update via ota 790.20mb... so Galaxy J2 would be getting anytime soon... as both carries very similar hardware except the ram...
