disappointed. it's a free cellphone from telco co. for plan promo. but almost a month of using it defects detected. cannot use sd card as my default storage, always run out of internal storage for just 2 downloaded apps (watsapp and viber )'can't move videos/photos from device to sd card, can't retrieve my lost media files. I had to force quit the installed camera( always file found/data error) and downloaded a new camera app but still the same issue:(

This unit is not worth the money. No way you can update or download apps coz its 8gb only internal and the expansion slot for sd card is useless....no access to external....only for formatting...very expensive for a TOY.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime didn't get 7.0 / 7.1.1 update. It is still android 6.0.1😑

It has a bad camera compared to the Grand Prime Plus which is its equivalent on paper specs. Had to return for that and got the Grand Prime Plus

This j2 prime sucks..its very very useless..only 8gb internal..cant even dl apps..cant even make SD card a default storage...such an idiot idea about this stupid phone

So far has worked very well, with proper storage management you can fit pretty much all the apps you need. I even have a few large games on it as well. It also has a pretty nice camera. Overall 8/10. 10/10 for the price

This phone isn't worth the money. It constantly is full, even when you keep removing apps. SD cards don't help either as Samsung has made it impossible to turn an SD card into internal storage.
Buy anything other than this.

It's always "storage full".. i need to uninstall my messenger just to install another app... very disappointing...

The phone does not enable SD card to be formatted as internal storage. It's basically useless - can't install the apps you want since half of the internal storage is already eaten up by the operating system. Most app downloaded cannot be transferred to the SD card that's only formatted as a portable storage. Such a waste of money.
